I am an avid reader, traveler, baker, and student.
I’ve lived on the Coastside for the majority of my life. Still, I am constantly inspired by the irresistible scenery here, and by the work of other artists that I see both here, and in my travels.
I started throwing pottery, and sculpting, from a very young age. Over the years, I’ve come to know the feel of the clay, and the glaze, like a good friend. If I feel upset or overwhelmed, working with clay lets me ground myself again, and create something that reminds me that yes, life can be very stressful. But instead of letting myself be sucked under, I’ve made something beautiful; a little bit of happiness for our everyday lives.
When I’m not at the studio, studying, or traveling I love spending my days with my dog, four cats, and a good book.
