An avid beachcomber and self-proclaimed history geek, I am the Bottle Curator for the Half Moon Bay History Museum and an artist who incorporates local beach-found treasures into my work while researching, writing, and educating about them. I am inspired by the beauty of our coast and deeply feel the seasonal changes to native animals and plants as I wander and explore.

I was a commissioned oil painter as a teen, but life kept me away from creating for decades until the sea rekindled my spark. I like to think of myself as an artist whose inspiration is the waste of the past.
