Waikee is deeply passionate about one’s expression of creativity through all mediums of art. She obtained her Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and then embarked for 8 years on an exciting career in film. That film work brought her around the world, living in exotic countries such as New Zealand, Norway, Berlin, Hong Kong, Australia, Buenos Aires and London which has played a large influence in her art. In 2009, Waikee had her first solo photography show at the prestigious Gasworks Art Gallery in Melbourne Australia.
Since that time she has continued to explore with other mediums such as oil, acrylic and now primarily in watercolors. Her love of the ocean influences her methodology of allowing the water to interplay harmoniously with her art to create pieces that evoke whimsical feelings of humor and delight for the viewer.
